evolution is a chemical reaction in which one of the end product is gas such as oxygen and carbondioxide .gas evolution reaction may be carried out in a fume chamber when the gas produce they are poisonous when inhaled or explosive.
example = when acid react with a carbonate ,producing salt, carbon dioxide and water.
