HEY MATE!

CHLORINE HAS MASS OF 35.5 BECAUSE OF ISOTOPES. ISOTOPES ARE ATOMS WITH SAME NUMBER OF PROTONS BUT DIFFERENT NUMBER OF NEUTRONS. CHLORINE HAS TWO COMMON ISOTOPES - 35 AND 37.SO 35.5 IS TAKEN AS MASS OF CHLORINE.
