here semi circles above length is 3

and opposite also has length 3

and total length 14

Now as radius of both + diameter of its adjacent one = 14-(3+3) = 14 -6 = 8

As 2r + 2r = 8

4r = 8

r= 2

.So Area of 4 semi circles = 4 pie r^2

= 4× 3.14 × 4 = 50.24

Now area of square formed between = ( diameter)^2 = (2r)^2 = 4 r^2 = 16

Now area of biggest square = 14^2 = 196

So area of shaded = 196 -( 50.24 +16)

= 196- ( 66.24)

= 129.76

∴  Area of shaded region = Area of a big square - Area of a small square - Area of a 4 semicircle.

∴  Area of shaded region=(196−16−25.12)cm  square

=154.88cm square
