A hospital has 16 isolation rooms. Each room has a patient with a different illness. The patient in room 13 recovers and wants to say goodbye to each patient. He can only visit each patient once. If he visits a patient twice, he becomes ill again.  

To find:

How does he do this and exit from room 4?

Solution:

Refer to an attachment for better understanding.

First, he enters room 14,  and then he comes back to room 13.

From room 13 he goes to rooms  9, 5, 1.

From room 1 he goes to room 2.

From room 2 he goes to rooms 6 and 10

From room 10 he goes to room 11 and then 15 and 16.

From room 16 he goes to rooms 12, 8, and 7.

From room 7 he goes to rooms 3 and 4. Finally, he exits from room 4.
