hey gues I was solving this question and I left out with this how to solve it?
11-6√3 = a+b √3

the answer for a= 11 and
b = -6 but unable to solve how
please help me out​

now see the only rational term in equation 1 is 11

and

only rational term in equation 2 is a

so a is equal to 11

a=11

now a is 11 so we will remove a and 11 from equation 2 and 1 respectively.

now we are left with -6√3=b√3

so b=-6
