given mass of water is 500 g

boiling point of solution is 100.42 celcius hence elevation in boiling point is 0.42 degree

kb is given as 0.512 K kg mol-1

hence by substituting in the formula

T' = Kb * W of glycerol*1000/Molecular mass of glycerol*W of water

0.42 = 0.512 * W of G * 1000/92 * 500

W of G = 37.8 approx
