Answers :
1) The digestion process starts from, mouth when we eat , then we chew it so that the food is breaked into small pieces so that it can be easily digested. Then , food reaches our stomach . After some time , the process of digestion starts and then the food is called digested.
Various steps:
- Mouth -> Saliva -> Saliva helps to moisten and soften the food so that it can be easily swallowed.
- Food pipe -> Food pipe helps in contribution of its muscles is responsible for pushing the food down into the stomach.
- Stomach - In stomach the food gets mixed with the gastric juice .Gastric juice helps in digestion of process.
- Liver and pancreas -> Liver secrete bile juice and pancreas secreted pancreatic juice which contains certain enzymes that help in digestion in food.
- Small intestine-> Small intestine absorbs nutrients from the digested food.
2) A muscular partition is present at the base of thoracic cage. This partition is called as diaphragm. It is present between the thoracic cavity and abdominal cavity. Due to this , air moves into the lungs through nose. when ribes return to their original position and diaphragm rises up , pressure on the lungs increases. Due to this , air moves out from it through nose. Continuous upward and downward movement of diaphragm is necessary to bring about the breathing.
3)
- Human heart is a muscular organ. It is made up of involuntary cardiac muscles. They contract and relax with a definite rhythm. This is called beating of heart.
- Heart is beating continously . Due to this , blood continuously circulates through blood vessels.
4)
- The nervous system is the major controlling, regulatory, and communicating system in the body.
- It is the center of all mental activity including thought, learning, and memory.
- It is essentially the body's electrical wiring.
5)
- Humans have two kidneys and each kidney is supplied with blood from the renal artery.
- This is done with the help of millions of nephrons present in the kidney.
- The main function of the kidney is the excretion of body wastes and harmful chemicals into the urine.
Explanation:
- Mouth-The mouth is the beginning of the digestive tract. In fact, digestion starts here as soon as you take the first bite of a meal. Chewing breaks the food into pieces that are more easily digested, while saliva mixes with food to begin the process of breaking it down into a form your body can absorb and use.
- Upon inhalation, the diaphragm contracts and flattens and the chest cavity enlarges. This contraction creates a vacuum, which pulls air into the lungs. Upon exhalation, the diaphragm relaxes and returns to its domelike shape, and air is forced out of the lungs.
- The circulatory system is made up of blood vessels that carry blood away from and towards the heart. Arteries carry blood away from the heart and veins carry blood back to the heart. The circulatory system carries oxygen, nutrients, and hormones to cells, and removes waste products, like carbon dioxide.
- The nervous system is involved in receiving information about the environment around us (sensory functions, sensation) and generating responses to that information (motor functions, responses) and coordinating the two (integration). Sensation.
- Humans have two kidneys and each kidney is supplied with blood from the renal artery. Thekidneys remove from the blood the nitrogenous wastes such as urea, as well as salts and excess water, and excrete them in the form of urine. This is done with the help of millions of nephrons present in thekidney.
