x^3 - 3 this is cubic equation not quadratic.
4u^2 + 8u=
u^2 = - 2u
u = 0 or u = -2
product = 0*-2 = 0 = c/a= 0/4
sum = 0-2 = -2 = -b/a = -8/4 = -2
4u^2 + 8u=
u^2 = - 2u
u = 0 or u = -2
product = 0*-2 = 0 = c/a= 0/4
sum = 0-2 = -2 = -b/a = -8/4 = -2
