the dye is fully suspended in liquid also , it is dissolved while ink contains powder of fine colorant particles .

The main difference between dye and ink is that:
√ Dye is totally dissolved in water.
√ Dye does not form a layer in container.
√ Dye is used for colouring the clothes purpose.
whereas
√ Ink does not totally dissolved in water.
√ Ink forms a small layer in container.
√ Ink is used for writing purpose.
