MANGO SHOWERS-Mango showers is a colloquial term to describe the occurrence of pre-monsoon rainfall. Sometimes, these rains are referred to generically as 'April rains' or 'Summer showers'. They are notable across much of South and Southeast Asia, including India, and Cambodia.
LOO- Loo is a strong hot and dry winds that blows over the western Indo-Gangetic plain of north India and Pakistan. It is especially strong in the months of May and June.
KAL BAISAKHI-Violent thunderstorms in the Gangetic plains of India are regionally known as Kal Baisakhi or Nor'westers. These localised events are usually correlated with thunderstorms accompanied by strong squally winds and torrential rainfall.
