❇️DEUTOPLASM refers to the food particles stored in the cytoplasm of an ovum or a cell, as distinguished from protoplasm, the yolk substance.

❇️Generally, the deutoplasm accumulates about the nucleus and is heavier than the surrounding cytoplasm.
