More to Know :-

The three equⁿs of motion are :-

{\underline{\boxed{\green{\sf{\dag v=u+at }}}}}

{\underline{\boxed{\green{\sf{s=ut+\dfrac{1}{2}at^2 }}}}}

{\underline{\boxed{\green{\tt{\dag 2as=v^2-u^2 }}}}}

A shortcut to do this type of question:-

When like in above question it is asked that after what time they will meet , then just divide the total height by the velocity by which the object from ground was projected.

Here h = 40m and v = 40m/s.

So , the time after which they met will be (40m÷40m/s) = 1s.

Wasn't that easy?
