Differentiate between incomplete and complete combustion??

Combustion means the burning of any substance in presence of oxygen
There are two types of combustiom
1. Complete combustion : the burning of any substance in a sufficient supply of oxygen.
Here carbon dioxide and water is obtained.
2 incomplete combustion : the burning of any substance in insufficient supply of oxygen.
Here carbon and water is obtained

Ans: Incomplete combustion :
(1) In this oxygen supply is insufficient .
(2)Fuels burn with yellow flame .
(3)This leaves smoke and soot
(4)Yellow flame produces light , so it is luminous.
Complete combustion :
(1)In this oxygen supply is sufficient.
(2) Fuels burn with blue flame
(3)This does not leave any soot or smoke.
(4) Blue flame does not produce light, so it is non luminous.
