I've tried animation before and for a beginner I'd recommend you use "Flipaclip" (At first it kinda looks hard but it gets ez when you get used to it), and To improve your sketches on mobile you can practice on "Autodesk Sketchbook" app, it's great and you user-friendly :)

So, for a headstart I'd recommend watching a couple of tutorials on the basics of animation for a head start. After a couple of months when you think you're suitable enough to animate using a drawing-tablet you can move to that, or just stick to mobile :P

Last but not the least, Keep calm, sometimes you might get tired/bored of doing animation or just fraustrated, and it's completely okay! Don't lose hope & keep on trying <3.
