Answer:

when the velocity is constant at the speed of 5km/h

in 1 minute=5000m/60min

=83.3 m

in 10 minutes=83.3×10=833m

when it decelerates at 1km/h^2 means it travels 1km in 2 hours.

in 1 minutes it travels 8.3 m and after it gets stop.

so total distance =833+8.3

=841.3 m. Ans.

u = 5km/hr

v = 0km/hr

t (for u) = 10 min = 10/60 hr

acceleration = - 1 km/hr²

= + 2aS

0 = 25 - 2S

2S = 25

S = 25/2

Distance = u × t + S

Distance = 5 × 1/6 + 25/2

Distance =(5 + 75)/6

Distance = 80/6

Distance =15 km
