Loose and dense connective tissue are distinguished by the ratio of ground substance to fibrous tissue. ... Dense regular connective tissue, found in structures such as tendons and ligaments, is characterized by collagen fibers arranged in an orderly parallel fashion, giving it tensile strength in one direction.
Hope it helps you..

Answer:

Dense connective tissue have more number of protein fibres and is compactly packed.

-The protein fibres and matrix are densely packed as compared to the loose connective tissue.

-These dense connective tissue have much fewer connective tissue cells in comparison to loose connective tissue.

Dense connective tissue is further classified into two types as :

1.Dense regular connective tissue - This type of tissue has regular arrangement of fibres and matrix.

2.Dense irregular connective tissue - This type of connective tissue has fibres arranged in criss cross pattern and irregular arrangement.
