I) Let 'x' be 0.6(bar on 6).
As there is only 1 repetitive decimal we should multiply x and it's value with 10.
We will get:
10x=6.6(bar on 6).
Subtracting x and it's value from 10x and it's value:
10x-x=6.6-0.6
9x=6
x=6/9
x=2/3.
Therefore 0.6(bar on 6)=2/3.
ii) Let 'y' be 0.47(bar on 7)
10y=4.77(bar on 7).
10y-y=4.77-0.47
9y=4.3
y=4.3/9
y=43/90
