=3/5 of Rs 2400

=3/5×2400 =3 ×480=1440Rs

remaining money =2400 - 1440= 960Rs

now ,boy spent'1/4' of the remaining money on buying shoes .

money spent on buying shoes

=960 ×1/4=Rs 240
