One of the most important reasons is that fluorine has higher electro negativity as compared to the carboxylic acid. Therefore it is also more acidic when compared to the carboxylic radicals.


When dissolved in electrolyte the fluorine compound tends to break into positive and negative ions. In fact, the polarity of the substance is on the higher side.
