hola!

♦ For A:-

C.P. of article = 7200

Tax paid = 10% of 7200 = 10/100 × 7200 = rs. 720

Tax charged = 10% of 9600 = 10/100 × 9600 = rs. 960

Thus,
VAT for A = rs. 960 - rs. 720 = rs. 240

♦ For B:-

C.P. of article = 9600

Tax paid = 10% of 9600 = 10/100 × 9600 = rs. 960

Tax charged = 10% of 11000 = 10/100 × 11000 = rs. 1100

Thus,
VAT for B = rs. 1100 - rs. 960 = rs. 140

Hence,
The required answer is:-

VAT for A = rs. 240 n' VAT for B = rs. 140

hope it helps! :)
