<h4><tt > here is your answer

⊙ The rural areas characterized by lower wages , a small size of land holdings , lack of opportunities , and ammentestis have been pushed of migration from rural to urban areas.

⊙ The glaring disparities in income distribution and consumption between quality of life of rural and urban areas of India is called rural urban divide.

⊙ There is a huge difference between the avalabilty of physical and social infrastructure in rural and urban areas which draws a divide between these two type of areas.

⊙ But As mahatma Gandhi said :- The soul of India lives in its villages.

⊙ so, neccesary actions should be taken to minimize it.

cause :-

Dependence of rural population on agriculture.

Lack of rural livelihood and employment opportunities.

Differential impact of India's growth and Development.

Urban Bias in social sectors such as health and education.

Poor rural infrastructure

Emphasis on smart cities and neglect of rural areas.

Dominance of social institutions in rural areas.

Improper implimentation of rural development schemes , leakages and corruption.

If we didn't reduce it it can lead to serious consequences and degradation of our country's economy.

Hope it helps
