Answer:

let we have given √[6x+7] -√[2x+2]= 3

let take square both side

[√(6x+7) -√(2x+2) ]^2= 3^2

on solving we get

(6x+7) +(2x+2) -2√(6x+7)√(2x+2) =9

8x+9-2√(6x+7)√(2x+2) =9

on solving it we get

8x = 2√(6x+7) √(2x+2)

now on again taking square both sides we get

64x^2=4(6x+7) (2x+2)

64x^2 =4[12x^2+12x+14x+14]

64x^2= 4(12x^2+26x+14)

16x^2= 2(6x^2+13x+7)

8x^2 = 6x^2+13x+7

8x^2-6x^2-13x-7=0

2x^2-13x-7=0

2x^2-14x+x-7=0

2x(x-7) +1(x-7) =0

(2x+1) (x-7) =0

→ x = -1/2, 7
