Suppose ABC is triangle and AE is a median. Hence BE= CE.
Take perpendicular AD by construction.
Since area of triangle ABE = 1/2 * AD * BE
&
Area of triangle ACE = 1/2 * AD * CE
Since BE = CE
=) area of triangle ABE = area of triangle ACE.
Take perpendicular AD by construction.
Since area of triangle ABE = 1/2 * AD * BE
&
Area of triangle ACE = 1/2 * AD * CE
Since BE = CE
=) area of triangle ABE = area of triangle ACE.
