1. Secular means that there is no state religion. Many states have a defined religion. For example, Afghanistan is a state where all the people are supposed to be Muslim. In India, you can be a hindu muslim sikh christian etc.
2. Socialist is weird though. It means the state has direct control over assets and has a tight grip. This was followed for Swadeshi..which in the end failed.
3. Democratic means the fact that we the people, vote the people, for the people. Indirectly, its us ruling over our country.
