Only few animals were killed in the tsunami because of there six senses which help them to hear the vibrations of the Earth, so the animals got alarmed .

Because they have senses to feel that the natural disasters are going to ouccr soon so to save their own lives, they start running and try to reach at higher places such as mountains etc.
