Here is the answer :-

Homozygous : If the factor (gene) exhibits the same character specially during the cross breeding through the pollination then it is called homozygous.

The tall plant (TT), dwarf plant (tt) etc are the examples of homozygous.

Heterozygous : If in the pairs of the homologous factors, both factors (genes) are opposite to each other in which one factor is dominant and another is recessive then such pair is called heterozygous.

The narrow tall plant (tT), tall narrow plant (Tt) etc are examples of heterozygous.
