We know that,

2 hens lay 2 eggs in 2 days

=> This means that 1 hen lays 1 egg in 2 day.

=> 2 hens would be laying 4 eggs in 4 days and 6 eggs in 6 days.....

=> But when we take 6 hens......then,

Applying the same ratio......

We get,

12 eggs in 4 days and

18 eggs in 6 days.....

So,

6 hens will lay 18 eggs in 6 days.
