verify that -3 and 5 are the zero of the polynomial q(x)= (x+3)(x-5)​

1st step

Now put - 3 in place of x

q(-3)=(-3+3)(-3-5)=0×-8=0

Hence - 3 is a zero of the polynomial

Now put 5 in place of x

q(5)=(5+3)(5-5)=8×0=0

Hence 5 is a zero of the polynomial
