(cot theta+ cos theta)^2-cot ^2 theta

;cot^2theta +cos^2 theta+2cos theta ×cot theta-cot ^2 theta

;cos^2 theta + 2cos theta ×cot theta

;cos theta(cos theta+2cot theta)

is your answer

minal21: no no answer is not like that

Your question seems to be wrong. It should be cottheta - costheta = q.

Hope this helps!
