x + y =9...(1)
10x+y +27=10y +x
as the digits are interchanged when 27 is added
27=9y-9x
so by taking 9commom
27=9(y-x)
3=y-x.....(2)
from here we get y=3+x
by substituting the value of y in eqn 1 we get
x+x+3=9
2x=6
x=3
so if x=3
y=6
as x + y =9
so the number is 36
hope this helps

Let the units digit be 'x'
and ten's digit be 'y'
So ,the number is 10x+y
x+y=9...equation no.1
if 27is added to the number it's digits are reversed..
so we have..
10x+y+27=10y+x
9x-9y= -27
x-y= -3...equation no.2
adding equations 1,2..we get..
2x=6
therefore.. x=3 that is units digit is 3
substitute x=3 in equation no.1. we get..
3+y=9
y=9-3
y=6
therefore the number is 36... please mark it as brain liest answer.. and follow me...
