\textbf{Pressure}:

Thrust acting on unit area is called pressure.

Or,

Pressure is defined as the force acting perpendicular on unit area of the surface.

\textbf{Pressure = Force / Area = Thrust / Area }

SI unit of pressure is N m-². It is also known as Pascal ( Pa )

1 Pa = 1 N m-²

\textbf{What is thrust? }

Thw total force exerted by the body perpendicular to the surface is called thrust.
