Hey guys need some help I need you guys to cross check the essay I have written it's quite contradicting

The topic was Should teachers be armed to protect against school shooters?
My answer:

LET'S ARM TEACHERS!!!

Also suggest arming every 18yo in schools. If that is unacceptable to them, then theyre full of it. This is a distraction until were tired of talking and the next news cycle hits.

They stand at the podium at CPAC and demand that the solution to reducing the threat of gun violence is to stock weapons in schools and strap teachers. Meanwhile, firearms at CPAC are strictly prohibited, because they know flooding the convention with guns is a stupidly dangerous idea that only raises the threat of gun violence.

They also likely have metal detectors at all entranceways and armed security everywhere. That’s a gun free zone. Posting up a sign saying “no guns pls”?

All you need to do is look at where the politicians hang out. The white house, republican headquarters, and Mar-a-Lago don't allow guns. So why is it that politicians feel it's okay to have guns in schools near children, if they don't want guns near them?

Under duress, just getting your weapon out and ready to fire can be very difficult. People are truly living in a fantasy if they think they could gun somebody down. It's one of the most unsure situations anyone can be involved in.

Even soldiers that train for months to be in combat will sometimes freeze. You don't go from a cushie job, having never shot more than a target to a high stress situation where your life is on the line.

Just wonder can a teacher shoot his student or ex student just wonder the emotions running inside him.

Now imagine the headline: Only 8 students killed because teacher was able to shoot at shooter.

What a joke. The fact that a shooting happened would still be tragic.

And how about:

Reagan was shot with the best protection in the world.

So was Kennedy.

There have been several mass shootings on military bases.

And:

The school resource officer couldn't stop it.

The first four Deputies on the scene, didn't go in then what makes anybody in that room think teachers are going to suddenly become Rambo?

I wonder if people would complain about the school shopping list if it included a box of ammo for each class. They bit.ch enough about having to buy tissues and crayons.

The NRA would have us all armed as a matter of civic duty. Gun sales would be through the roof

It's just another ploy to sell more guns. All these people care about is $$$
