The question is-

A horse and a dog are running with the same speed. If the weight of the horse is ten times that of the dog, what is the ratio of their kinetic energies ??

KE = 1/2 m v square

1/2 and v square gets cancel on both side as the speed is same.

Therefore

ratio of kinetic energy of horse to the dog is

10 : 1 = KE Horse : KE Dog
