see, we have given

7 brothers born 2 years apart youngest brother 7 years old.

we have to find

age of oldest brother.

so,

we will number all of them in their increasing age.

so, youngest 1,then 2,3,4,5,6,7

age of youngest is 7

age of no 2 is 7+2=9

age of no 3 is 9+2=11

age of no 4 is 11+2=13

age of no 5 is 13+2=15

age of no 6 is 15+2=17

age of no 7 is 17+2=19

so, the age of oldest brother is 19 years
