Education and literacy is very important for the well being of the society. Yes, surely when people will get good education then itself they ca differentiate between right and wrong.
Education does not only teach us maths and physics but also mora values , life skills and gender equality which is very essential in the society !
Good education brings wealth and making your parents and the society proud of you is a great thing !... excelling in everything good is the best use of your gained education ever ! Putting your efforts In making something for the society which has given you so much with you education is a very appreciated work !

Studies is not byhearting.. when we byheart nothing goes into ur mind.. It just remains for a small period of time. We need to understand the concepts practice them daily then it non can stop you to open the door of success. !!
If you are trying on an other field example singing... studies might not have that much value to you though they are important we need to concentrate a little bit on them too but keeping your concentration on the field you would like to take up later is not a bad is idea!

Education is a life long process. There is no boundary to get knowledge about various things. Education is valuable in our life. Without education it is very hard to get a proper life.
