Answer:

Circular when the body moves around some other body. Rotatory motion is when a body spins around its centre of gravity or its own axis. Circular motion is due to centripetal force, while rotatory motion involves torque . The circular motion revolves around another body, while rotatory motion, is in its own axis.

Answer:

Circular motion is the motion of a body around another body in a circular orbit. For example, the motion of the moon around earth in a circular orbit is circular motion. If you tie a pebble with string and start moving it around yourself, the stone is said to be in a circular motion.  Centre of mass remains at one place Rotational motion is the motion of a body  as one around its own axis. For example, the motion of the ceiling fan is rotational since its motion is around its own axis(axle). Centre of mass goes around a fixed centre maintaining a constant distance

If a body or a particle move in the circular path the motion is said to be a circular motion. In circular motion the particle or a body moves around a point which is not on the particle or the body in the circular motion. Example a toy train on a circular track has circular motion.  Rotatory Motion The motion of an object is said to be rotatory if the particles of the object rotate in a circular path with respect to an imaginary axis, known as the axis of rotation. The axis of rotation can be either inside or outside the body of the object that is spinning For something to have 'rotational motion,' it has to actually have something that it's rotating around (called an axis).  In general, a toy train on a track does not have an axis that it's rotating around, so it would not have rotational motion.  A wheel on a car, however, rotates around the car's axle, so it does have rotational motion.
