it means each member collected x rosess .......

X members collected x roses by each...

it means x² no. of roses are collected

which is equals to 1764...

so according to the problem...

x² = 1764

x = √ 1764

therefore X = 42

it means there are 42 no of students in class 8th... hope this helps u...tqs ....
