1/4 is your answer because in question modulus is given -y so when we find the value of y it's negative. so, on putting the value of y in given equation then negative sign will be cancelled out. and it becomes positive. then -1/4is not possible. and in modulus first we take positive value and then negative and taking negative value answer will be -2/4
So,
Answer is 1/4.
