let theta is A
LHS (1-sinA)/(1+sinA)
=> (1-sinA)/(1+sinA) × (1-sinA)/(1-sinA)
=> (1-sinA)² / (1² - sin²A)
=> (1-sinA)²/ cos²A
=> ( 1/ cosA - sinA/cosA ) ²
if a² / b² then it also written as ( a/b )²:
=>( sec - tan ) ² = RHS
hence proved
