Given, Area = 168 cm^2.

Given Altitude h = 24 cm.

We know that Area of triangle = (1/2) * b * h

⇒ 168 = (1/2) * b * 24

⇒ 168 = 12b

⇒ b = 168/12

⇒ b = 14 cm.

Let the hypotenuse be x.

Now,

According to Pythagoras theorem,

⇒ x^2 = (b/2)^2 + h^2

⇒ x^2 = (14/2)^2 + (24)^2

⇒ x^2 = 49 + 576

⇒ x^2 = 625

⇒ x = 25 cm.

Therefore, The length of hypotenuse = 25 cm.

Hope this helps!
