Let x be the number of 5 rupee coins and y be the no of 2 rupee coins.

According to the question,

5x + 2y = 100----------------------------------------1

x + y = 32---------------------------------------------2

Substitution y = 32 - x in equation 1,

5x + 2(32-x) = 100

5x + 64 - 2x = 100

3x = 100 - 64

3x = 36

x = 12

==> y = 32 - 12 = 20

There are 12 of 5 rupee coins and 20 of 2 rupee coins
