(i). Value of 'x'

In ∆ADC,

40° + 50° + (2x + 20°) = 180°

(Angle sum property of triangle)

110° + 2x = 180°

2x = 180° - 110°

2x = 70°

x = 35°

(ii). Measure of angle DAB

(2x + 10°) + 40°

(2 × 35° + 10°) + 40°

(70° + 10°) + 40°

80° + 40°

•°• Angle DAB = 120°

(iii). Measure of angle BCD

BCD = BCA + ACD

•°• (x - 20°) + 50°

(35° - 20°) + 50°

15° + 50°

•°• Angle BCD = 65°

(iv). Measure of angle ABC

(2x + 25°) + Angle ABC = 180°

(Linear Pair)

Angle ABC = 180° - (2x + 25°)

180° - (2 × 35° + 25°)

180° - (70° + 25°)

180° - 95°

•°• Angle ABC = 85°

Hope this was helpful
