Find the sum of all 3 digit number divisible by 11

All three digit number divisible by 11 are: 110,121,132........990

it forms an AP in which

a=110

d=11

l=990

let there are n terms in AP

since,

l= a+(n-1)d

990=110+(n-1)11

11(n-1)=880

n-1=80

n=81

since,

sum of n terms if a and l are known is: n(a+l)/2

S81= 81(110+990)/2

= 81×1100/2

=81×550

=44550
