Step-by-step explanation:

5^m × 5^3 × 5^-2/5^-5 = 5^12

Now , we know that

5^m+3+(-2)/5^-5 = 5^12 ( when bases are equal power should me added on multiplication)

5^m+1/5^-5 = 5^12

5^m+1-(-5) = 5^12 ( when bases are equal then power should be subtracted on division)

5^m+6 = 5^12

So, m+6 = 12

m = 12 - 6

m = 6
