let the preceding prize value be ' x '
present value of each prize =( x - 20)
total prizes = 7
total value of 7 prizes = ₹700
7 ( x - 20) = 700
7x = 700 + 140 =840
x = 120
value of each prizes = x - 20
= 120 - 20 = ₹100
