Hey guys!!! Plz give the meaning of this line.

Unsaturated hydrocarbons add hydrogen in the presence of catalyst such as Palladium on Nickel to give saturated hydrocarbons.

unsaturated means double bond or triple bond and in presence of catalyst the bond break and hydrogens are added in remaining places

First of all it is Palladium or Nickel.

Un saturated hydrocarbons means carbon compound with doubble or threeble bond.

And finally when this unsaturated one is added to hydrogen in presence of those catalyst it gives a saurated compound.

Here saturated means a compound with dingle bond
