unsaturated compounds decolourise bromine. Benzene has no double bonds, however benzene has a ring of delocalised electrons for that reason benzene is less reactive....

Unsaturated compounds decolourise bromine. Benzene has no double bonds, however benzene has a ring of delocalised electrons for that reason benzene is less reactive.So it doesn't decolorise bromine water.
