=[(2+√3)(2+√3)-1]/(2+√3)

=(4+3+4√3-1)/(2+√3)

=(6+4√3)/(2+√3)

=2√3(√3+2)/(2+√3)

=2√3(2+√3)/(2+√3)

{(2+√3) in numerator and denominator cancelled}

=2√3
