Answer:
r = v / i
= 100 / 10
= 10 Ω
Percentage error in r
Δr = r × [Δv/v + Δi/i] × 100
= 10 × [5/100 + 0.2/10] × 100
= 70%
Percentage error in r is 70%
[Note: We got such a huge error because absolute error of voltage is very high i.e ±5]

Solution: V=(100+-5)a
I=(10+-0.2)a
R=V/I
=100/10 =10 ohm
∆R/R = +-[∆V/V +∆I/I]
=+-[5/100+0.2/10]
=+-[7/100] = +-0.07
∆R = R ×0.07 =+-0.07 ×10
=0.7 ohms
% error ∆R/R ×100
=+-0.07 ×100
=+-7%
