Given :-

A number when divided by 91 gives a remainder 17 . When the same number is divided by 13 , the remainder will be ?

Solution :-

Dividend= Divisor*Quotient + Remainder..

So,lets suppose Dividend as p , Quotient as q.

So , p= 91*q + 17 (given)

Here p is the number and 91 and 13 are divisors .

So, 91q+17 denote p .

Now, Given That, the same number is divided by 13 .

So,

(91q +17) / 13

Now, we know That,

91 = 7*13

So, we can say That, 91q will be a factor od 13.

Hence, when we divide 17 by 13 we get,

=> (17/13) = 4 Remainder.

so , we can say that ,

=> (91q+17)/13 = 4 Remainder.

Hence, When the same number is divided by 13 , we will get remainder as 4.
